My current daily driver

The former owner drove it from Del Mar California to the east coast in the mid '80's . That must've been a loooooong trip ! Now it only gets a few thousand a year .
That's a wicked nice car, you're lucky your brother is that trusting!

FWIW I always thought of a cross-country trip as being something next to impossible, but it's actually not nearly as long as it sounds. Although, maybe in a MM it is!

LOL - a cross-country trip IS a long trip , no doubt ! I can't imagine how long it was in a Minor  . I'll be finding it out soon though , I'm driving to Bonneville (salt flats) next September in my rat rod 122 Volvo . I'll be sick of driving by the time I return .

The Morris is actually prettty roomy inside , lots of headroom too . Four people fit pretty well inside - we've proven that (IIRC all the way to import Carlisle years back - 1.5 hrs) . The drivetrain in the Mo is WAY more reliable than that in a Mini , and this car is just as fun to drive . If I buy another Mini , it'll be Honda-powered for sure !
