My car is at it again!

yep, ask tony. i called him while driving on 84 to go see desi. the front left wheel is making another grinding sound.. i just got my allignment done and ever since then this has been going on.. its not a snap crackle and pop like before.. now it is just a grinding.. the car doesn't pull any which way when i brake...

:sigh: just thought you would like to know.

lol You want a new paint job but don't care about the headlights?

Dude, my paint is complete crap, but with repainting the front bumper, using Zaino, and new headlights, you would never notice till up close.

You don't need a new paint job to make that ****** look good. In the spring, get over here and we'll spend a weekend detailing it.

did you have both wheel bearings done? i had one side done...car the car back, then boom, the other one went...they typically make a grinding noise but if you turn the wheel slightly one way or the other (depending on which side is gone) the noise should disappear

tony sounds good.. yea well, i would be getting new headlights if i was to get a paint job.. duh, but i'd perfer headers and a new y pipe.. and a few other little goodies to go faster and leap tall buildings before trying to woo other cars by looks alone..

umm, wheel bearing note.. its the same side that i had it done on.. the right side isnt making any noise. and its not only when i turn to a certain side.. its going in a straight line, turing left or right .. it makes the sound.

Jeff check out www.advancedautopolishing.com and give Ben a call, He can definately help your paint out, but it isn't going to be to cheap but it maybe a worth option for you for awhile. You can also talk to him about having paint done. He is a family friend and I talked to him about the paint for my car when I was looking into it.


as for the noise, get in there and check one thing out at a time .... you haven't had the wheels off recently have you ?

I ask because on my mystique once I cross threaded one or two lug nuts and at highway speed it was like a grinding/thumping sound ...

if im correct, the wheels don't come off during an alignment.. that would have been the only time the wheels came off recently...

and thats all i can think of, because this has only been happening since the alignment.. and i think its a little too late to go up to them and be like "yo firestone.. whats the hell's up?"
