My Brand New Quad Projector Headlights

Not a fan of the strips but they look bright and great either way.

Just to clarify this, these ARE NOT the cheapo LED strips you can buy off of eBay ... They are premium LEDs which I carefully encapsulated into a fiber optic plastic tube. Then I poured a clear epoxy to spread the light evenly. That right there took about 4 days to do...

The amber LED turns are brightest strips currently on the market, and have a lifetime warranty.

Thank you for the props everyone!

Again. I want. Need a set without the strips. I dont think eyelids would help with that top strip...prob throw the light all funny in the housing and creep between the eyelids and hood (maybe blacken the top of the housings under my silver fiberglass eyelids??). And not a fan of the LED turn signal strips below either. But the rest me wanty.

To each their own!

Drove the car through a Forrest this evening, the light output is truly amazing...

As far as the retrofits go, this definitely got out of hand. The worst mission creep of anything I ever did. But they are also the most intricate set I ever did. When compared to my old setup, these are like trying to read Latin script in pitch darkness.

Hell, I can put together a set of 90mm quads in a single day ... Hahahahahahahah

I never said they were cheap. They actually look like amazing quality because of your time into making all work through a tube instead of just slapping a led strip in there like most would do. I just personally dont like them.

Shoot me a quote to do a retro fit. Just low beams including the headlights and being hightowered (I can get these painted black).

Thanks again guys. Found myself going for aimless cruises over the last couple of nights, just to enjoy the show. Especially going through dark roads ...

12 yrs after I bought it, still enjoy the SVT! ;)

DAMN IT!

Makes me want a SVT

Nice job man ;)

I don't think people quite understand what you are really showing them. Get them lit up asap.

You could mod in 98+ headlamps! You made a matching "entertainment" trailer car for god's sake, in comparison this would be alot easier I think.

Milan, those look amazing. I really like the led's. Very nice touch to what is the ultimate aesthetic mod, the quad projector headlamps!

Thanks Greg!

He could splice in the new front end, but that's tons of work and $$$. He would have to replace both the fenders, get a new front bumper cover, a new hood, a new header panel, a new grill ... Then there's paint. So it would be very cost prohibitive.

I've entertained the idea of making a set of them for him as a token of appreciation for all Joe has done for me over the years. Truly a great human being.

That is very true, but this is Joe were talking about! Most of the labor he could do himself and I suspect total out of pocket expense for materials would be quite reasonable. For example, he buys a cheap CSVT with a blown motor, keeps the parts he needs, and parts the rest out making a profit in spite of what is kept. As you well know, he has a knack for this :D

On the other hand, I'm not sure how pre-98 headlamps with projectors would look but I'm certainly curious to see it!

We'll see what he wants to do. Would love to donate a set of lights so Eggplant can be complete ... ;)

Love you guys .

We'll see what I end up doing with EGPLNT's headlights. I love the clean look of some new OEM headlights, but I have these Mondeo Morettes here that are just killing me to be modded and put on my car. :ponder:

They fit the overall shape of the hood, but are too tall so the bumper and headlight header panel have to be cut out of the way, which I don't want to do

Hmmmmm .... I honestly think that you're better off switching to a post 98 front ... :ponder:

No way dude. Never going to happen. Then I'll look like the rest of you turds and your post 98 front ends. I'm in a class all my own these days .

Morettes: Do anything possible.

I kind of have some ideas, but it's hard to visualise for me.
1. smooth glass lenses fit to the modified Morette housings, painted black inside, with projectors fitted behind the glass
2. smooth glass lenses fit to the modified Morette housings with regular bulbs
3. new oem headlights
