Kudos on the new car!

A friend of mine has a base cobalt pretty nice car. SS much be so much nicer.
 
Congrats! I agree with you, new car is a huuuge financial mistake. But it feels nice to be the only owner.
 
Nice numbers on those things 0-60 in 5.7 and 260 hp. Pretty impressive considering a stage 3 supercharged ss only gets 250. Impressive. Mind me asking how much?
 
Congrats you now have traction at the cost of handling, but speed can be so much more fun...

I not aware of the selling tactics this use now a days. But do they lease those or only sell them? Which brings me to my next point did you buy or lease?

I guess i better starting putting some more spacers to keep up with you :cool:
 
08 was the redesign. it is now direct injection fariable geometry turbo. the LNF is beautiful. holds the nurbirgring record at 8.22 for what it is. plus it doesn't have the rice spoiler :)

we do lease. but my god why at this point.

550 a month on an hhr ls. our only real affordable leasing car is the impala unfortunately.
 
Mild re-fresh.

The supercharged LSJ engine was gone after 2007MY, it is no longer available.

The SIDI Ecotec is just fantastic, so smooth for a 4 banger and fuel efficient to boot! I've only got 70 miles on it and I am averaging about 23mpg and I haven't touched the highway. :drool:

And it feels nice to be able to stroll down to the dealership when it breaks and tell them that it's their problem to fix.
