Mustang GT wheels?

Actually, I think people have run them before, but they look absolutely RIDICULOUS. They stick out past the fender like 3 or 4 inches IIRC. It looks idiotic.

i have some saleen replicas they are 17x8 they have a 19mm offset, and they have plenty of room on the struts. getting the tires (245's) mounted tonight. they will rub they inner fender liner on the front, but they fit.

and they dont stick out 3-4", they do extend past the wheel well, but not that much

Offset of a 7" wide wheel for a 4-bolt '87 to 93 Fox Mustang was usually about 22mm, the later 5-bolt fitments ran about 30mm offset.

A Contour with a 7" wide wheel wants offset in the 42 to 45mm range, in fact, +45mm is about perfect. Old Fox 4-bolt wheels are going to stick out near 2cm more than they ought to, and that's going to make sidewall to fender clearance a bit of a problem.

Yeah, the 4x108 Mustang wheels won't work well but for the very few FWD owners who do the wide body thing, which is too bad b/c there have been some very nice 4x108 Stang wheels produced over the years.

You know , after I sent the message PICS PICS!!!, I noticed that your sig had Cougars. In the back of my mind I thought you would be talking about a Cougar.
Your first reply to the TS, was deceiving because he was asking about fitment issues on a Tour.

Nice ride though, it looks very fun to drive.

the cougars wheel wells and depth of the inner fender well are not that different compared to to the contour.
