A few of you may know that I'm pretty active in the 24 Hours of LeMons racing series. Our team is centered heavily around Contours even though only one of the cars (until now) has been a Contour. We started with and still run a '90 Geo Metro with Contour subframe, 3.0L/MTX75 in the rear. Then came a 98 SVTC with full 3L swap. We also have a van running twin 3.0L/MTX75's.

This is probably the best it looked as a Contour.

Then, it turned into a wagon to fit in with the other 2 "70's vans".

Over the last few months we decided to cut up the Contour....

....to create this

What do you think? Contour blasphemy? Mustang Blasphemy? We love it. If you want to see more, check out www.facebook.com/knoxvegaslowballers.

I'm not sure wtf it is, but I can tell you it is simply AWESOME, take me for a ride please!!!! ARGH!!!!! Most people will think its broke sounding like a tour...I love it!

Im still trying to wrap my head around.." 90 Metro.. 3.0L/Mtx-75 on subframe....in the rear" that thing has to be CRAZY fun to push hard around corners!!

Thanks Francis. We anticipate lots of confusion when someone sees a 65 Mustang doing front wheel burnouts.

squeek, I've driven and swapped both COP and coil pack setups. I don't think think there's a perceivable performance benefit to either. I am a big fan of the convenience of the COP setup though. Since the COP setup comes with the 3L engines that we buy, it's more plug N play.

I like it. I'm still awed by the dual engine van. By the way, the wheels I bought from you turned out great on my car.

image_16647.jpg DSC_0218-XL.jpg I couldn't cut up an SVT unless it was totaled to begin with but I do have a 95SE v6/mtx and a 66 289/t-5 Mustang and cant say I haven't thought about how something like that would work ,I can dig it though
