Mondeo Pics

Basically, to sum it up...you need to hit the search button. All of your questions (not too sure of the wheels) have been answered over and over on this forum.

ok after seeing how much they cost, and how poorly they fit contours, no morettes for me lol.

This mondeo still looks killer though!

WOW, thanks so much for all the comments!

The headlight eyebrows can be found from places like ESP Design, but make sure you get the ABS plastic ones and not the cheap fibreglass ones as they fit poorly and will break in transit. Not sure how well they would follow the contours of your headlights? No pun intended.

I have a couple issues

First, I really like the wheels. Brand? Model? (also you might want to get some wider tires, those are just begging to break the bead)

The wheels are Ford, genuine Escort Cosworth alloys which are 16" but 8j wide. I changed the tyres from 225/45 16 tyres which are the EsCos size, and also scrubbed badly on the rear arches to 205/40 16s as I prefer the stretched 'euro' look of wide wheels with stretched tyres.

Second, how can I get some of those Morette headlights? I've been looking everywhere. Search ebay nothing comes up, the Morette website has zero info at all, etc.

If you look at eBay.co.uk they pop up occassionally but again, would prob need a bit of work to be fitted to the Contour.

Third, will that body kit fit a contour? I have a feeling the rear may not because contour and mondeo have a different ass end.

Same answer as above really :(

I think the car could be lowered maybe 1" up front to set them off better:cool:

Would love to but not really poss on roads over here with speed bumps everywhere, also, can just get on the ramp at my local garage. I think the Konis may lower it slightly when they're fitted as they're shorter shocks but not as low as I'd love. I just need drivability as it's my daily driver.

The wheels are Cosworth...And if I'm not mistaken, the centercaps fit the E0 SVT wheels.

While the centre caps may fit they will not sit properly, they wont sit flush with the rest of the wheel. The centre caps are different on the Cossie wheels and thus, more expensive and harder to get hold of :(

Once again, thanks so much for all the comments!

I really like the combination of Morettes and the eyelid. It's an interesting look I've not seen before, but works and looks great. I was going to suggest the wider tire, as I'm not a fan in anyway of that stretched look, but you addressed that in your immediately preceding post. Nice work with the car. Now, how about some interior shots???

It's called flocking, it's different to just spraying the panels, and one of the easiest and cheapest ways, of getting the 2 tone look I wanted inside. The door cards are also 2 tone so the plastic matches the dash and the centres match the seats and all the other grey bits.

Flocking is the process of depositing many small fiber particles (called flock) onto a surface. It can also refer to the texture produced by the process, or to any material used primarily for its flocked surface.
Rally cars have it done to their dashes to prevent glare, tis quite a common mod atm over in the UK.

Some people think it's good, some people thing it's flocking sh*t, it's kind of torn down the middle. But I do like th eodd controversial mod to get people talking. Nobody liked the bonnet bra when I got it over a year ago, now most of MEG are asking me where I got it
