Hello everyone, Im a newbie to the forum but love it already. I do have a question or two for you guys, but please, go easy, like I said I'm new here.

I have a 98 Contour SE that I have been doing some mods to on my own. I want to take a bumper and mold it to the existing one on my car, maybe the SVT, Im not sure yet. I have heard alot of talk about this but not actually how to do it. I need to know what kind of bonding agent is best to join the bumpers together and will last, and if there is some sort of tutorial on this it would be great. I tried searing but with no luck, Thanks in advance everyone.

Ok, plastic weld eh.

Is there no type of epoxy to use? I have saw a few mods where it looked like the used some sort of two part epoxy and then filled in the gaps with some sort of bondo? A couple even fiberglassed them together but I was under the impression fiberglass didn't work so well on plastic, I guess what I'm getting at is there an alternative to plastic welding. Thanks

Keith

one of the best looking bumbers that I have seen on this site was the Grand Prix (I believe) and SE bumper molded to eachother.
