They fit GREAT....dont get me wrong. Problem is the CF doesnt have the flex like the Duraflex versions do....so with the wrap arounds....its alot harder to flex them over the rear of the bumper cover. And like most of us....the wrap around and clean looks of the wrap arounds are the reason we want these.

I would heat up your bumper a bit, and use some kind of felt backer on the inside of the spitter.

I also recommended hooking the front of the splitter and trying to place the wraps from a bottom (lower angle). Try it with the cover on the car so you can leverage the mouthing points to tweek the bumper. I was able to get mine on and off. Dont get me wrong, i didnt like it. I had the wraps on mine, but cut them first thing. Mine is removable, which was important to me.

Mine was also DF. CF is a game changer though.

Well you sir...have no idea what hell us CF guys are going through! lmao j/k :D The felt is a great idea though.

I am tempted to cut those wrap arounds off, but they look so good. And tweaking while on the car isnt a great idea with the fenders being so flimsy at the mount points. You can bend that area and spidercrack paint too easily.

This is what I lined mine with, I just did around the fog lights and on the sides.

I was trying to find pictures of me trying to fit it, but I dont really have anything showing how tight it is

You can see the stress cracks here though from trying to 'stretch' it around the bumper

Are you guys not unbolting your bumper support bars from the bumper? I take my lip on and off and I always just unbolt one of the support bars. No stretching of the lip, just push the bumper in and bam.

it would be impossible to to get the CF one on without unbolting the support bars

Since svt4stv hasnt been back to start GB3 i figure now is the best time to ask all you guys what exactly is the visual difference between a "blem" splitter and the final versions? Does anyone have pics of what they had to do to their blems to get them to fit? I've read the past GB comments on them but still confused on what needs to be trimmed to make them 1/4" shorter to fit. to save $100 and get a blem is another $100 towards upgrades that spool :-)

A "blem" will basically get you a DF version of the old splitter with no wrap arounds. Assuming you cut them off. More or less, they are a little too long in the wrap-around area, so you can space it out or cut off the wraps.

I was considering buying the same, but I'm not sure if he has any left.

I see now. I must have missed this explanation and saw another. I'm curious if anyone has any pics of them "spaced" out. I like the look of the wrap around. Thanks dlphnfn!

Mine doesn't have the support bars, they were decontented for the '00s I believe. I still have to do the old pull stretch.

I hope its not too late. svt4stv was supposed to get back on and start another GB thread a few weeks ago, but from what I've been reading he's a pretty busy guy. I'm trying to get in on one too, just waiting to see the official GB3 thread to put my name in!
