Mike's tranny fix thread

haha. Anyone can swing by and bring food, but this isn't going down at my new house! It is going down in Farm Hills at my parents place because that is where the trans and my engine hoist is. But they have a grill too! :) Hopefully we will have some nice weather. I haven't even checked yet.

On another note, I have been intending to have a little ceg party at my new house. Jason needs to break in my huge stainless steel grill that I still need to assemble!

Sounds like a good idea, but I need to make sure the grill has propane, etc..! :) It should be good to go though.
 
GRANT!!! WTF i dont look at this thread and i get left out. LOL. if arron and bill are still planning on me workin with them this weekend they might stop by too.

Reeb's parents house in Farmington Hills. I'm showing up sometime in the early afternoon on Friday with a dead svt on a tow dolly behind my truck. Reebs is swapping the tranny with my help. Lots of others are showing up to whatever ... To encourage a few people to turn a wrench I'm bringing food for all that show!

A lot of people go to Terry because he has cornered the market and scared people into thinking the MTX-75 is pandora's box. Any reputable trans shop can do the work, they will check pre-loads etc. I just recommend Liberty because if Mumm and Capaldi trusted them to build race trans for the cougars, im sure they can handle a street trans for me.

Anyone who doesn't know where my parents place is, then shoot me a pm. Although I have sold parts to 95% of the local CEGers from that garage. :) Who hasn't bought something off me? :laugh:
 
Hey guys,

Was just reading the thread and thought I'd post ( I had a few posts before but that was when the board was having acct problems, had to open a new one). Anyways I've only had the SVT a month (3 GP GTP's before this my first Ford) but I thought if this is shaping up to be more of a CEG meet maybe I could swing by, learn a few things about these cars, meet some of EGL crew and since Black99 Said he was bringing food but not drinks bring over some Canadian Swill LOL.
