Meh

Sammay, found out that the rear seat belts won't fit in the rear seat holes. The leather doesn't stretch enough for my plastic seat buckles. I don't suppose you have the SVT seat buckles lying around? I looked a few pictures and they have cloth connections rather than my plastic connections.
 
I know I haaad some but I may have used them for engine straps. Pm nighthawk something something as he is parting out a mnb 00 SVT.
 
I've turned the red csvt into muh daily driver and only using the silfro for long distances. but the S/C is holding up well. and not over heating. still isnt tuned and runs so RICH its not even funny. Next month ill have the engine bay taken apart and Pc'ed. my PC guy couldnt do it this month got busy with work and is outa town so next month expect some /drool\ pix :cool:
 
I have a car problem. It's a lot like Sam's car problem except I only have one contour. I think I may end up buying a miata that a guy wants to get rid of because he's fed up with the amount of repairs it's needed lately. There's nothing wrong with it now that he's fixed it. He's just convinced that it will break again soon and wants to cut his losses. Since I have worked on my fair share of miata's and other cars that share the Mazda bp05 engine, it would be good for me. But then I got to thinking that it would be an even better diner for a locost. I also am starting to think that I am going to need a tow vehicle and trailer. I don't know if anyone has checked lately, but trucks are cheap. Then there's my single seat baja chassis in storage. I've been wanting to put a Subaru drivetrain in that for a long time now. Then comes the problem of where would I park everything? Does anyone have any solutions to any of my problems?
 
Sounds like youre throwing us an F5 tornado of issues lol. I say buy a car till you get the sentra back on the road and then sell it. Once you get both the sentra and contour back on the road you wont need a DD.

Goumba - did you ever go the dermatologist for your appt? I had my full surgery today and dang, CANCER SUCKS! They took about a quarter sized area of my cheek and stitched it up. I have some pain killers right now but they are doing jack squat.

The wife took some pics of before and after the stitches and they are sick. Im going to go lay down and try to sleep. I hope there are lots of good new posts to read cuz I cant do anything for the next couple of days.

Ive been trying to play 360. Rented NFS Shift. I dont know if I cant play while drugged up or if the game sucks. Any good movies ideas?
 
I think we need those pics.

Hmm, can't think of any good movies out on DVD. Maybe pick up a TV series you have been meaning to see.
 
The Office!!!! or Seinfeld.. but you might not want to laugh too much because it will hurt... These arent good suggestions for that.


Ever watch Tyler Perry's House of Payne... OMG that show is sooo funny... Uncle Curtis is #1.
 
Ill send the pics to anyones emails if they really want to see. Dont want to post them, people have weak stomachs.

Even movies that are out in theaters, the interwebz will have it. I think Im going to look up zombieland.
 
I've been meaning to go see Zombieland, just haven't got around to it.

Oh for movies, check out Role Models if you haven't seen it already. Saw it the other day and it was fantastic.

I've had the sentra back on the road for a long while now. It was only ever down, for a few weeks at the beginning of the year. It's even paid off now. I'm not going to be buying the miata though. It wouldn't have been a bad thing to have a miata though.

Hey, I never had the chance to see it until it came on HBO the other day. Plus I didn't think I'd like it that much.
 
Gave the T-red a good detailing the past few days. i may post in the pics thread after a shoot more tomorrow but had to post this one just love the color and darkness
