Meh

It was a 5-speed. I talked to her for a while, she said she's had 3 Subaru's before, and loves driving a manual trans. Plus she liked how 'sporty' the WRX felt compared to others in the Subaru line up. Damn! :laugh:
 
Oh I've been on some joyrides in my day working for a trucking company. ;) But now I'm an old man and just kinda putter around. I think I rolled over 300k miles.
 
I'm in the Tampa va hospitol. I'm doing a head injury program. They're also going to take care of the shrpnel damage in my shoulder and try and help out my balance issues due to more shrapnel damage.
 
I always wait for you to update your sig with that crazy high mileage SVT. Whenever I think I have too many miles, your SVT comes to mind. Then I realize its nothing. Im catching up though. 300 miles away from 220k.
 
Found an 86 MR2 4AGE at the junkyard today. Gonna get a price on the motor sans trans and wiring and convert it to twin DCOE 40's if it's within budget.
 
So no matter how many times I make same day in and out trips I still find it odd traveling without luggage. I also think it's odd/cool to be like "Yeah I'm going to San Antonio to hang out for a few hours, I'll be back tonight." Waking up at 4am to get to OIA blows though, especially when that's when you should have left to make your flight. Got there 20 minutes before departure (already checked in), the drive was only like 50min to 1 hour. Definitely a new record.
