Head home from Illinois.

The open roads of Wisconsin (sure not that great but they beat the gaytacular TOLL HIGHWAYS of illinois )

Made it back to Inver Grove around 7:50pm last night after leaving Chicago at 12:30 and driving 55MPH THE ENTIRE WAY! I saw some rather unhappy semi drivers on my cruise when I was blocking the right lane...

Pictures in the day light this morning

Note the SRT 4 rims

I knew it from the NECO forum. :) Rims aren't bad, just needs to be lowered. I drove one for sale about a year ago. Loved the interior on those cars. But all I will ask is why? winter beater?

Yup replacement for the Probe I think... Otherwise I'll let my girlfriend drive it. The color is nice, I like it - subtle but can be sharp. It needs an engine and met all the qualifications like manual transmission, sunroof, power, etc. Rims are decent, I'm gonna clean them up and I have an idea that will make them super cool/unique! Those will be winter wheels for now anyhow. I've got a set of near mint E1s that have wanted to be used for the last two years  Just need to invest in some rubber :blackeye:

Hence the 55 all the way home?

Precisely... And the fact that it shakes over 60 when I started coasting down hill :help: I think the tires need a little loving.

I averaged 38.8 mpg cruising at 55 though  Made it the entire trip from Chicago to St Paul ( no stops other than outside of chicago to top it off with gas $15 cuz it came with 3/4 ) Made it the entire way with 1/4 tank to spare when I got home!

sweet. i think you need all my extra parts to put that motor in so you can come pick them all up for 100$ kay thanks :)

oh and yeah.......you need the engine hoist again?

Hoist may be nice, but I definitely don't need any of your parts :p I do need a set of headers and SVT cams though :D

And a whole lot of time to fix all the stupid things.

yeah. call me on the hoist. you would have to come get it but if you got nothing else feel free ;)

I've been borrowing one from BigBlockPaul :) It's only like a block from my house so it's super duper easy to go pick up when I need it, however if I need one and he's not available I'll remember you got one way up there on the edge of civilization ;)

yup yup. remember if you need a hand any time or just someone to complain to i'm only like three blocks away at my gf/s house

True, I forget that you're that close sometimes and I think it's weird when you're in Inver Grove  I may be heading out to U Pull one of these days to get myself a set of Valve covers (black ftw!!) and other random parts for my brothers truck and what not.

Edit: Do you have your stock SVT Intake? If your car came with one? Mine didn't but it'd be better than a stock Cougar one :)
