lowering tour abt 1 1/2"..........question

ok.............thanks everyone.
it seems the concensus agrees that this is a very bad idea.

pls note that i do have car knowledge however, it's more motor than suspension.

i do not want to mess my car up but after talking to a couple of people, i guess it didn't seem like such a bad idea. this is why i brought it to you guys.

and boy, did i get the truth.

Hey man I used to be like that too. For those of you remember how I wanted to lower my car really bad. Well what I did was waited till I found a nice coilover (Koni Strut with Eibach Springs) for a fair price $600. Just be patient and do it right. My best reccomend to lower your car is to just get lowering springs.

Ask a question, get an answer. It's awesome.

I'd much rather have the harsh truth than the sugar coated lie any day, unless it's from a hot chick.

I've been looking for cheap suspension parts for a couple of years. In that time, I have saved enough money to buy new stuff. I think its better to be patient and get quality than it is to be impatient and get crap.

OP, when my suspension went, I installed the new one myself, using Stazi's how to on the old forums. What I saved in labor allowed me to get better than stock springs and struts. FYI, the BAT European Handling kit will lower it about 1" or so, and all the parts are designed to work together. IIRC, it's about $600 new. It's always worth it to wait and save for the correct, high quality parts, you'll appreciate it so much more once it's done.
