So lately the only cars that have been messing with me just so happens to be one of my fav imports... GS-T/GSX's...Of corse I don't even tease myself and just leave them be, for i'm no Jackass when it comes to making myself and my CSVT look bad. :laugh: Would be nice tho to have the money to do a 3L Swap and Turbo setup, but that's pretty much outta the question for a college student paying for their own $hit without Mommy and Daddy's help.;) Too bad CSVT's didn't came out of factory with 210hp and 214Trq. like those :censored: !
 
I used to own a Saturn L300. 3.0 v6... it was only rated @ 180 HP. i'm sure it was Under-rated because it hauled some ass and i beat up on GS-t's and Eagle Talon turbo's on a regular basis. seing as my SVT is slightly faster i don't think they should be walking away from you in a race. :nonono:
 
I know what you mean man.. Ford shoulda just put a 3.0 in there or something, because they shoulda figured people were going to do it anyway, why not help us out. Instead they decided to stick us with 195hp, why not just give us 200, it sounds better too. I just say my CSVT has 200, instead of saying 195. like the SRT-4's coming out of the factory with turbo's, whats up with that?! kinda pisses me off :(, but hey, s**** happens and ya jsut gotta deal with it

Well i will leave you with this. Please do some research about svt/svt contour. Also the 1999-2000 svt contours did come with 200hp:rolleyes:.

Also if ford didn't cancel the contour, svt was planing on building a contour turbo'd version. But ford pulled the plug on the regular contour. So svt lost the contour the following year. Man kid you need to do some reaseach instead of *****ing like alittle girl.

Also who says college kids are poor. Get a job, and if you do ahve one, find a better one like everyone else. I did when i was in college and i wasn't poor:nonono: .Yesh kids today!!! why add the mommy and daddy doesn't pay for me rant. Shows you must be jealous to have to bring that up.

How much was school when you went?

Tuition costs are way higher now then they ever were.

My university has raised tuition 198% in 10 years.. That does not equate to inflation...

I got my bachlors last year.I still go to college.... Masters program. And yes that is hell of alot more money per credit hour.
More than you canadians pay for college.

confort yourself on the fact that your province dont have PST to pay everyday, but at least for us they froze the university tuition since the last 10 year or so... so is way cheaper over here...

lol, yeah i made that all up so i sounded cool ? :nonono: Nor am I, or was I a teenager when i owned the car... i had a couple kids in an older style turbo supra ask me to pull over and pop my hood to check for nitrous after a race once. :rolleyes: As for the contour getting beat by them im sure its very possible stock for stock i dont think it should happen very often, but they're arn't many mods you have to do to a turbo'd car to make it scoot right on by you in the CSVT.

im a full time student and work 40hrs a week! being in college does not make you poor, its the decisions you make on where to spend the money that really matters. I would blow all my money on my car, now i've realized wow, what and idiot i am lol. Anywo yea as Harrry said, get a job or a better one and it wont be oh so bad. Working and going to school makes you more responsible.

Wow, this thread really just goes to show that some people know nothing about cars in general. Your joking right bout your CSVT whooping up on GS-T/GSX's? A stock turbo eclipse would eat up a stock CSVT anyday, weather any of us want to admit it or not?. I dono who you were racing but they must have started driving a manual that day...:nonono:
