Sure is a boatload of miles. For $2800, you should be able to pick something up that hasn't been around the world six times. Don't know about $1500 -- you might be looking at a project for that money, which, as we know, is not really $1500, but rather, an opportunity to spend $3000 with an entry price of $1500.
