The 2.5 heads are off a Ford reman that was put in my '95 Contour, the motor spun a bearing and we pulled it and dropped a 3.0 in.

The 3.0 heads and other items are off of a loner engine we had for the 3.0 swap.

Attention since some of you guys are close by, I was looking to rid of some parts so I can go back to stock. Only condition is I need money and trade of your stock stuff. Right now want I want to rid of is

SVT Lite package (SVT uim with SVT TB and cruise control cable.) This is a James howard UIM which was max honed if I remember correctly. Thing has only 10k or so on it and the TB has brand new TPS sensor. Only issue with either is UIM has a few scratches but not bad enough you can't paint over if you repainted it and the TB was starting to be optimized when I got it from the guy so you can finish it or leave it be. Im looking to get $400 for the SVT UIM AND SVT TB together and trade of your TB with bracket, tps, cruise control cable, and any other necessities for the Stock TB. This would work better for a Non svt member probably. hehe

Also Im trying to find an stock exhaust. I have a fully stainless steel system. The system includes stainless steel high flow cat and stainless steel borla dual exhaust with the tips tack welded to the perfect position. I would like to get $450 for the whole system and trade of stock exhaust. This exhaust has a couple years of sunny virginia weather on it. Didn't go through anything that bad. Performs good and sounds good.This exhaust could work for you guys. SOmeone could clarify if a trubendz cougar dual exhaust will work for a SVT or non svt.

Two Sumitomo HTR+'s, 215/45/17. Tires have practically no wear.

One Wal-Mart brand spare tire (actually wasn't bad), 245/45/17. Only on car for maybe 2,000 miles.

E0 brake calipers and rotors (slotted) with brand new pads. They've been sitting for about a year and a half and kinda rusty but should clean up good.

All prices reasonable.

Hello, I heard about this board from another forum. I currently own a 1gen DSM that I'm looking to trade or sell to get a regualr contour manual, or CSVT Manual. So idk if anyone knows of anyone getting rid of their tour' or wants a DSM but here are some specs:

1992 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo FWD with 151K on it.
When I bought the car I did a full tune up, changed all belts, ECU, ect. And cleaned it up nicely.

The Good:
~Title is clear
~Car runs great
~Great gas mileage for a fast car
~Nice paint for a 14 year old car, no rust, a few small dings and scratches, but nothing noticeable.
~5 Speed Trans.
~Eprom and socketed ECU
~3" Turbo-back exhaust with 3" Hi-flow Magnaflow CAT and 3" to 2.5" dual tip Mangaflow muffler
~K&N Filter w/ free mods
~NGK Plugs
~Interior is in great shape, no rips, stains, ect.
~New black headliner
~Boost Gauge and A/F Gauge
~Grant GT Racing Steering Wheel
~Panasonic headunit w/ Pioneer rear speakers
~Tint all around
~Powerslot Rotors with Hawk Ceramic coated pads (front only, haven't gotten the rears yet).
~Overall a nice running car with plenty of potential!

The Bad:
~Compression isn't where it should be but that's normal with a 151K car. Two of the cylinders and low, but I will verify this again with the engine warm and post numbers.
~Boost Leaks, easy fix, prrb needs new vacuum lines and exhaust manifold is cracked.

I was told by a member of my home forum, Probetalk.com, that Contour/Cougar owners are looking for this motor so here goes...

FOR SALE:
1998 Ford Taurus SES WRECKED
-Red exterior/tan cloth interior
-3.0L V6 DOHC/ATX
-stock alloy wheels
-less than 99,000 miles
-AM/FM/tape
-stock dual exhaust
-moonroof

Basically my sister wrecked her car beyond repair. She couldnt afford collision so now she is screwed. She rearended someone so the front is junk. Everything from the doors back(except the airbags/windshield) is in excellent condition. There is a small paint chip on the rear bumper, otherwise the body is in great condition other than the obvious crash damage. The interior is flawless besides a small tear in the top of the center console. Tires have a lot of tread left. The engine and transmission are in excellent shape. Both are the original with less than 99,000 miles on them. I drove the car not a week before it was wrecked and the trans feels great. The engine did not burn any oil or ever smoke. The car is totally stock. Basically she needs money for a new car. We know what we can turn it for scrap and wont take less than that. We want the car out of the yard and I want her to stop needing to borrow my Explorer and my mom's van. Delivery can most likely be arranged if gas money is paid. I'm not sure of the title is still clean or not but its not worth rebuilding. Would be excellent for someone who needs an engine and/or trans. Potential buyers may come hear the car run and take it for a very short drive(not much of a radiator left) to insure the engine and trans are in good shape. I would much prefer to sell the car whole than part it out.

I miss my SVT so I'm looking around again. (TGO's post made me do it...)

1991 Taurus SHO, Mocha with brand new interior. This is a midwest car with zero rust under it.
Shocks are blown and it needs sway bar end links up front. A pillars are cracked from new interior. Wheels and tires are kinda beat but that's about it. Comes with new brakes and brand new in the box Eibachs.

Interested in partial trades for SVTC's...
