Lincoln Zephyr....circa 1942

that car is amazing! the lincoln and the modle a. my grandfather has a neary mint 48 lincoln mercury, and a 1933 ford pickup that needs a paint job , both flatheads that start up and purr. only problem is the tops ripped on the mercury.
 
...I could almost see the ad slogan "The Lincoln Twelve for 1942!" Got any ads from the 42 Lincolns LauraSVT?

Here's the closest I could get. From a '49 Lincoln ad. The engine's a flathead 8, not a 12, but the similarity is clear. The image is huge, but easy to read.

 
Ohh so thats what they originally looked like... the only one i've ever seen is this
