I've been looking into different ways to tint, or "smoke" my headlights and taillights, and, so far, all I've found is the spray on stuff and the film that you blowdry on. However, a friend of mine mentioned that there's an ink that you can boil your lights in and it chemically bonds to your lights to make a permenant, great looking tint. Searched all over google and ebay and everything else I can think of, but can't find anything like it. Anybody ever heard of it or have any advice on how to find it? Thanks.

cant say as i have ever heard of the stuff. honestly though i wouldnt ever tint my headlights. you just lose way too much light output and then you cant see at night.

I agree the striker. I've drove my uncles 92 mustang that has the shades and at night its like driving with sunglasses on. It isn't fun at all. I love the look of slightly tinted lights but sometimes you have to think about safety first.

I was just reading about veil, which is a laser cloaking paint that you paint on your headlights. It gives the lights a slightly tinted look. They claim it doesn't effect light output, but I can't see how it wouldn't. Its super expensive though, 80 bucks for a can.

actually, i'm just thinking of tinting the taillights, darkly, anyway. i maybe tint the front a little bit, if it looks good, but only once i get my HID's in.
