light in headlight switch

My headlight switch does not light when the headlights are turned on. It has the white spot for a light, but it doesn't feel the same as the switches on the HVAC. Was the light taken out of the headlight switch or could my bulb be out?

Nope, you should be able to replace it with a #194 bulb assuming the twist-in socket is still there. If it isn't, I suggest going to a junk yard and grabbing one as I'm not sure ones you find online will fit perfectly.

Also, the HVAC has two 194 bulbs/sockets in it. So you could always pull one out of there if need be.

can you just pull the switch off to get at the socket or do you need to go behind the panel?
