Let the fitment begin

Well, got the wheels on.

Now, once again, I know this style of strech and poke/hellaflush isn't everyone's style of stance. But I love it. Just gotta get some getting used to with different theme on wheels and fitment.

First, the tires mounted. Has a decent stretch.

The fronts. I want to camber them in, but don't want to run the risk of the camber plates. But, the clearance is good so far. I can even go lower.

And now the rears. GOOD LORD I love the fitment. BUT, I'm having some rubbing issues currently. I believe it's the liner that's sagging down in a place I had cut on both sides. I will take another look and more than likely take the liner out. But so far, the clearance is pretty good on the fender side. The rear bumper tab HAD to go for sure. I spent a good hour trying to figure the rubbing, and even raised the rear up by 1/5". It's going back down if I figure it's just the fender liner rubbing.

Here's the picture before I raised it. Less than credit card clearance. Coilovers are gonna be on full stiff, not that I'm far from it anyways.

Sorry But I HATE that look. It make you look like you can't aford the right size tires for the rims..

I won't destroy the tires because they clear, as well as the alignment is spot on for the tread wear.

There are also no pot holes here. Due to the construction, all the roads have been repaved (sucked during the time they were rebuilding it)

Here's some whole shots of the wheels on the car. I'll get quality ones up later but everyone has been dying to see it done.

A few notes

1 The rear has been raised 1/5" untill I can pull the rear out a bit more

2 I can actually go lower up front and still clear

3 Once again, I know this style isn't everyone favorite at all.

4 I want to address reducing the amount of poke up front, but that's not necessarily a priority right now.

5 Flame suit on! ^_^

I like it more having seen the whole thing, but it needs 12mm more offset a tire with a sidewall. I'm fine with the stretch, but those rubber bands make the wheels look tiny in the wells.

Your style is your style, jut personal opinion.

I think it looks pretty good as a whole. Wasnt crazy about it from the close ups. But with the pics of the whole car i Like it. Nice job.

Love the way it looks minus lack of side wall think it would look better with less stretch and more sidewall, but it's your car your style. Kudos on the wheels love them!

More sidewall would mean more work to the fenders, and definitely trying to stay away from that lol I actually think the wheels look bigger because of the smaller tire

Looks good, I can't wait to see some level ground pictures. I think a little fine tuning in the height department will help too.

Certainly a Pioneer.

Thanks everyone.

So, I removed the fender liners and that took care of one running problem. I still have some issues with the fender in the rear and I think I have a plan. Currently, the springs in the rear are not preloaded, giving the suspension a bit more low and bounce. If I preload them, it should give enough upward pressure to keep the tires from rubbing. So I'm going to try that when I get off work today
