An excellent way to make use of the wasted space above the garage that exists in all too many of today's poorly-thought-out home designs. I would still rather have the area above the garage as living space, but this is the next best thing.

I quietly troll CEG quite a bit, but I had to login and post for this. That is an awesome build. Once the update on my kitchen is done my wife as approved the garage as the next thing for us to work on, and I will be adding a lift like that now. I already have the stairs, and yeah that can be hairy sometimes when carring large objects, and the fact that my stairs are only rated for like 250lbs, and I'm at like 245lbs.
