hey all im getting the dash warp kit and called ford to get a labor quote and the quoted 2.5 hours which is like $220! i was blown away, as i couldnt see it going over an hour, or even a hour in a half? i was just seeing if anyone has paid to have theirs put on and what it cost them? thanks.

First off, what year Contour? There is 2 different dashes used.

Second, depending on what year obviously, it can be warped just over the gauges, just the front by the windshield, or both locations.

omg i just saw that my 99 is starting to warp over the gages and well im pissed. how can "I" fix it
+2 I just realized my dash is pulling upwards above the gauges  Looks I have a fun project ahead of me!

anyone comment on the rates

I actually think that's a pretty reasonable estimate...Have you looked at the instruction sheet that they use to do it? Perhaps you could do it yourself...
My bet is, if you looked at it, you'd say, "The hell with that! This is $220 well spent!"

I took mine out and did it myself and it was not exactly easy. Think back I would have paid someone 220 dollars to do it for me. You could do it yourself if you bought the kit and did it yourself. Remember just make sure that you a free day to do it and make sure it is put together correctly.
