KYB GR2 Gas Strut w/ stock springs

They are considered a stock replacement so they may a little firmer but overall pretty close to the factory ones.

You guys are making this terrible. Everytime I decide on KYB's as a stock replacement, a whole bunch of folks will crap on them. When I decide to go with Monroe SensaTracs, the same happens with that brand. Is there any brand that's universally accepted, maybe Sachs or Spax sold by BAT? Looking for (better than) stock replacements but not lowered-$port $u$pension since it's strictly a daily driver.

My SVT Tour is strictly a daily driver. I do not plan on lowering it or making handle like it's on rails. I have another car that I mod, check out the sig.

As long as you're just interested in a stock replacement the KYB, Monroe or Gabriels should be just fine. Just make sure you get them someone with a warranty.

I just replaced my struts with some Monroe Sensatracs about a month ago and I was very surprised how stiff they are. I thought they would have a soft ride but they don't. Not too happy with the ride quality, but it's definitely better than the stock struts with 150k on them.

I just ordered the Sachs rear struts (K402S) from BAT and I'll order new springs from Rock Auto. The Sachs struts (w/shipping) cost the same as what the locals want for KYB or Monroe or Gabriel struts.
