the 98-98.5 are the better/nicer ones. Do a search its easy to spot the difference

I'm reviving an old thread.
I snatched mine off of the 99 today but I had 2 different types on the car. I know that the car was in an accident but I'm guessing they just picked up whatever they could find & stuck them back on the drivers side. I'll try to get some pics up of the result this week.

I Used fishing line upon suggestion, but i'd imagine dental floss would work tons better. as for clearing the tape, patience. It will take an entire day if working alone.

The fact there's a big gap on both sides makes me think thats as good as it gets, it is an aftermarket hood.

Fitment on the new tour sucks! The totalled one was damn near perfect. Its as good as it gets w/o moving the fenders.
