What unit did you use and how did you hook it up?

I just got a 98 SVT E0, I have a fob I need to program. I read the how to, but I cannot find the mystical connector that needs to be shorted.

I looked around behind the glove box, and found plenty of wires and connectors, but nothing that was not mated with something else.

Help?

I know I posted this pic before when I was looking to program my key fobs. It was confirmed that this is the correct connector.

I got a cheapy it was $40 at pepboys. i didn't need a high tech one. i juss needed one to open my doors. The brand name was bulldog. I juss located my doorlock wires and connected the wires together. and programed it. it was four wires. i had to connect two wires to the main 12v ignition wire. and to the lock and unlock power wires. It was juss time consuming.
