K-a-r-m-a!

I never adopted the kids because back in time we just didn't think paying $5K for a piece of "official" paper was worth it, afterall I took them as my own kids and never thought twice about it.

As far as the situation goes, well, I spoke to my ex yesterday evening and she's taking full repsosibility for what happened (duh:shrug:) and has a lawyer and it appears, based on what the lawyer told her, that she would get probation for 2 years, so I'm glad about that from the standpoint of the kids and that's about it. It looks as if the fine is going to be reduced as well, so yet another win for her in that respect. To quote the great Gregg Henson..."its all about the kids!"

As far as KARMA goes, well, I still believe/trust in it and now I'm waiting for the fat pig she got married to to get his, once this happens I will not be so nice in what I post/say about that one, stay tuned as he's going to get his too:p

This is the third marriage that I've heard of that while on the rocks, got a bigger, better house, but still ended in divorce...

Interesting.

Hope your future works out for the best Roger. I will be enlisted for the Dragon again next year.

Seeing that your "enlisting" for the Dragon next year maybe you can get another person to go with you, along with another car too:cool: I don't mind hijacking my own thread about this as its never too early to start planning for this. Think sometime the end of Sept/beginning of October, just like in the previous years! Each year its gotten bigger and bigger and Hectour and I were talking about this the other day and decided that we might have to break it down into 2 groups going out there, at different times so we're not all bunched up, but we will end up at the same meeting spot as before, the clearing right at the end of the run, right by that bridge and lake that dried up. Ok, I digress now because thinking about it and looking outside doesn't quite add up:rolleyes::crazy:

No joke. I think if you have a Kohl's cc you get a discount. Don't recall the percentage. Kohl's is always having sales and has good prices as it is.

Actually both Kohl's and Target mailed out $10 off cards during the time period news coverage stated. They showed a close up of 10% off coupons but stated similar discount card.

Kohl's had no minimum purchase either, you could buy items for exactly $10 and get them 100% free. I know I used a couple of em, delivered to home and to my office. Got 3 or 4 clearance T-shirts free each trip.

So it was really like stealing cash and at $10 a card adds up fast. She probably got caught because the store tipped off authorities. How many repeat times can you come into same store and use an identical coupon before suspicion arises. But bad marketing for the store to admit that to news reporter.

The store did get wind of it because she stood out in her postal uniform, so somebody out there is doing there job and doing it well!

Must just be you then. I completely agree with Rog. He might not find out about it but every dog has his day.

Once again, this isn't true. It can't be supported by scientific evidence that every gets "what they deserve," simply because there's no objective standard of what's right, wrong, good, or bad.

It may be true that you have seen people get what YOU think they deserve, but that doesn't mean that there's some mystical, magical force out there tallying up everyone's "good" and "bad" deeds, and working behind the scenes to make sure the people we don't like end up getting screwed in one way or another.

I'm not sure what your story is, but I hope you find justice too.

I'm not looking for justice - I'm fortunate enough to have few, if any enemies.

I once thought I'd never see some kinda of karma, but I'm here to say it does happen. Now I've gotta wait for something to happen to the fat pig she's married to!

And chances are that something will happen - bad things happen to people all of the time. Look at all of the times we've seen people on ("good" people!) here get in car accidents, breakdowns, get hurt, etc. :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored: happens to everyone, good or bad, and to assign some sort of moral significance to an event is no less superstitious than astrology, horoscopes, and black cats.

Umm the forum and real life people numbnuts.

Name calling is an excellent way to tell someone to be nice.

Also, your post didn't make sense - you used a plural pronoun with no clear objects. It assumed I treat people on the internet and in real life differently, which isn't true. I said that my personality works better in real life, not that I treat people differently.
