Just installed Accel coil pack - Problems!

Well, this remains to be seen. The OEM works. If you spend a few bucks less but spend a week trying to get it to work, did you really save any money? How much is your time worth? Sometimes ignition parts can't be returned. So then you're out double the cost. It's a nice experiment so carry on. At least this will be a good lesson no matter how it turns out.

Yeah but the problem was he got the wrong one. If he would have got the right one in the first place he wouldn't have had to fidget with it and still would have saved some coin.

As loggerbomb said, I got the wrong one....THEIR fault. They *will* take this take, if they know what's good for them. The time involved is minimal. If it helps others, then I love to contribute and am only glad to help when I can!

It sounds like maybe no one one these forums has actually bought one of these???
If so, then I'm fine with being the guinea pig. It'll just be a lesson to all -- Make sure you get the one with the vertical connector, regardless of what any site says.

New Accel coil installed. Correct part now.

Fired right up first try. Won't know if this impacts my ongoing stuttering problem or not until the morning when I can actually drive vs. just revving in neutral.

OK...I've had it installed for almost a week now.

Conclusion: No difference in power. But, on a major plus side, I think I **finally** solved the very old mystery of what was causing my intermittent hesitations!!!! SCORE!!
