its time for new tires...

If they're gonna see winter weather go narrow with a 205 or 215. For spring/summer/fall driving a 225 is the way to go.

Agreed!! My 16's have winter tires on them and i run 215's also. I can't go past 85mph for long peroids with them on. Anything past 80 makes the car feel like it's floating and there is alot of sway.:blackeye:

205/55-16 Blizzaks for the winter here. Summer- 225/45-17 on the Konig knockoffs, 215/45-17 for the FSVTs, a set of 225/45-17 sitting in the trunk, and a different size soon... ;)

205s get my vote for winter driving.

You should see these 225's I put on the FSVT's for you today. They don't spin or squeal at all on acceleration like my others do when the secondaries open. I kind of want to keep them. They seemed quieter too for the big 0.5 miles I put on them. Good news is that the other SVT doesn't have enough power to have problems with the old tires that are on it now.

Wes, if these are for snow, I would definitely suggest sticking with 205/55s. They are nice and tall to fill up the wheel well, and there are so many more choices than the 215s. 225/50 are still my favorite on an E1, but not ideal for snow.
