It's another melee @ PSU

I actually wasnt even in this state. I was visiting a friend in Kentucky. But if you search Penn State Riot on youtube, the first video you will see is from my friend Kurtis.

I watched the video... damn!

From what I understand, the police are reviewing video and more arrests are on the way.

Yea it was crazy. Light poles got torn down. I heard a car got flipped. A couch was lit on fire on College Ave. Crazy. Kurtis did get maced in the face too.

Idiots. They win and have to destroy part of the town, makes no sense. Party in the street, whatever but there's no need to be destructive.

Ouch, mace isn't fun!!

haha, yeah i know so many people that got maced.. i laughed at them. but theres one video of a cop that just started to get too aggressive with the mase. he would pull kids hand's off their faces and spray them. it was pretty F'd up. his cop buddy came over and made him stop, but he did it to like 5 kids.. completely unnecessary.

I remember reading that small scrubs and small trees were pulled out of the ground and thrown at police, haha. and then some kids put toilet paper around a scrub/tree and lit it on fire... and, you guessed it, threw it at the cops.

I do believe the total damage report was ~ $50,000, which isn't too bad from what i hear. and there were about 4000-5000 student participants in the "destructive disturbance" as it was reported,

I saw in the one video a cop just walking by people and spraying mace. It sprayed out in a fairly large spray pattern too, he nailed a ton of people. That :censored::censored::censored::censored: burns!

You're right, pulling their hands off of their faces was unnecessary. Even with their hands over their face, they still got maced. If it's on your clothes it will bother you. It doesn't matter if you cover your face with your hands, you still get the affects of it. It ain't fun. :help:

Throwing things at the cops, not cool at all.

sounds like my type of people

You mean you weren't there? I could swear I saw you hanging off the light post. :D

nope sadly i wasnt. there. i def wouldnt have been throwing things. now ripping things out of the ground maybe. def lighting things on fire. (like shrubs or a couch)

i was a total mess thursday, friday, saturday. It wore me out to the point where i dont even feel the need to go out and party anymore.

theres actually a 4 person investigation team going out and making arrests/convicting people, using youtube video's and camera's on the street.. good thing i wasn't there!

It is a good thing Andrew!

They'll find and arrest many of them. Once they start bringing people in for questioning, they will rat out others to help save their own asses.

Hmmm.... let's take some videos of the mayhem and post it on YouTube where it can and will be used against us in court. LOL!

No, not at all. Not the smartest people and these are the next generation. Kinda scary. :D

LOL! Not you of course. :)
Ian maybe, but not you. :D

It seems like this type of stuff is happening more and more at that school.

This stuff always happened here. The Assistant Dean of the College of Communications said how when he was a student they would break into Beaver Stadium, tear down the goal posts, and carry them to JoePa's house. Its not like this is anything new here. What do you expect when you have 43,000+ students (often intoxicated) and really nothing in the area for them to do?
