It Is Time..

Bill, I think its time you picked up a suspension kit and we set up another tear apart Bill's car meet...

If I get some new rear struts, I can put my suspension kit back on... Those ST200's didn't hold up for me...

I'm actually having an issue with these wheels, surprisingly. Might have to go to Troubleshooting. That or something's wrong with my front passenger hub/rotor.

God, no matter what I do with my car, something's always going wrong. :nonono:
I'll get over it.

Andy, I'm down for that meet. But let's make it a Work On Everyone's Car Meet. That way I don't feel bad it's just MY car being worked on!

Long story short, the lip of this small ring on the hub mushroomed over, not sure why. It's preventing the wheel from sliding over. We're filing the edge off, hoping that's the issue. We tried a wheel on it again and it seemed to go easier, but not perfect.

Damn car. :nonono:

Ok here's the pics. Im confused as to what this silver ring is on the passenger side hub:

If it makes you feel any better my car shakes... Starts at like 10mph slightly and by like 70mph is unbearable... I guess it keeps me from speeding...

It does go away a little above 80mph though...

We can work on my car... I'm working on an elongated, polished TB right now... I have a 3L tb but im not sure if I can make that one work.

Also, im thinking about ordering up the LED's to finish up my interior...

EDIT since pics are up:

Bill, it looks like that ring may be part of the brake rotor. Anyways, i'd pull it off... If you can't get it off, maybe try unbolting the brake caliper and pulling off the rotor.

Oh yea, hit all if your bolts with WD-40 or PB blaster or some kind of penetrating oil, so when we do suspension things are nice and freed up... Those are gonna be even more of a pain to get off than mine were...

Here's a better pic of the car. Ignore the snow/ice by the windows.

Short list of fixes/mods that are coming shortly:

-FSVT centercaps [Any pointers to a cheap set PM me]
-New tint.
-Possibly a drop. It's been sitting on original suspension for 12 years.
-Removing CAI to the elbow, and plugging the hole. Ride dependability is more important these days. New K&N filter.
-Realign the hood. It's just sitting too low on the driver's side, nothing major.
-Buff/Claybar/Wax. Obviously the week before SZ07.

Maybe another surprise too. Got some stuff laying around. Not sure if I want to take her off the road for that long though.
