Interest Check: SVT Embroidered Floor Mats

Good question. Not sure if they do rubbers, but I'd be interested for the right price.
I'm using Autozone specials for the winter now and they are work OK, but I was going to cut a hole in them for the factory hold-down as their moving is my only complaint.
BAT used to make a set, but I think they're gone and they seemed smaller than I want for winter.
My wife's Maxima has factory rubbers we use all year and the carpet looks new underneath.

The foul-weather mats I would like are the WeatherTech "FloorLiner", which basically cover the entire floor area and partly up the sides with a high outside lip. Unfortunately, MacNeil doesn't make them for Contour/Mystique.......but they do have an online "Product Request Form", so if enough interest was shown, who knows.

You can get the MacNeil Weathertech rubber floor mats for the Contour, I have a set in Tan in my Green/Tan '99 CSVT and they do a very nice job of keeping the winter slop off the carpet.

W3-W20 is a front/rear set, they're available in Black, Tan or Grey. These are a generic mat set, they're not a perfect fit - the rears have to be trimmed a bit to fit between the rear seat mounts, but the front mats are plenty big and catch most of the slop.

Would this company be able to make those rubber all-weather mats with either SVT or Contour logos on them? And if so am I the only one interested?

I would be interested in rubber mats with SVT logos

I would be totally interested in this. My BAT ones are worn out and they are no longer made. They say Ford on them but SVT would be perfect.

BTW, the quality of these custom mats is outstanding. I recommend them!

I also would be in for this. I would like them to take up most of the carpet, and fit snugly.

Just an update about Tan SVT mats from Falcon Enterprises.

I ordered a set through Grant at Falcon a few weeks back. He sent me an email last week (1st week in October 2008) that they they had NO stock of the Tan carpet, and they had nothing else in stock that was even close.

Autovation FTW

Autovation FTW

I contacted Autovation and they said they would be willing to do this if someone could provide them dimensions... hell I would just send them in the mats so they can duplicate them. Here is a response I got from them in an email...

We can do the SVT logo on mats as well. Here is the dark blue we could do the mats in:

Do you have the dimensions of the floor mats?

Thank you,

Wouldn't they save the dimensions from the previous set 0_o

Well i can send them dimensions no prob. Could you shoot me Anthony's Email address when you get a chance?

I don't think Autovation has ever done these before. Other group buy was Falcon Enterprises in California

They haven't done these before. I set up the second GB with Falcon Enterprises with Grant and then someone did it again with them just recently. They most definitely are out of midnight blue. I also think if we want these done right someone should just send in their mats to Autovation so they can perfect the shape of the mats and make it just as good as the OEM ones if not better. Taking measurements is one thing having the real thing in your hands is another. Just my two cents.

Why not just trace them on some heavy paper? Easier and less expensive to mail.

A few months ago I got a very nice set of embroidered mats for my SVO Mustang. I'll look at them this evening to see who made them, perhaps this could be another source for us.

Tell you what, I'll contact Vanmats and see if I can arrange a group buy/price for mats with embroidery. When/if they get back to me with something, I'll start a new GB interest thread.

Obviously, since they already make mats for the Contour and you can order individual sets, there's nothing stopping anyone from ordering their own set. Call 'em up and knock yourself out.
