Idle fluctuates a LOT when engine is warm

I have a 95' contour SE with the duratec v6 and ATX. It has about 120,000 miles on it. The car runs and drives great at first, but then when the engine gets to running temp, about to the R on the guage, it begins to have some problems. The CEL turns on and the RPM drops, then spikes back up for a second, then drops again and so on. The car even dies sometimes. I have no idea why the heat would have this effect on the performance. I checked the codes from the CEL and this is what I got.

KOEO
637-Transmission Oil Temperature Circuit Above Maximum Voltage
621-Shift Solenoid #1 Circuit Fault
622-Shift Solenoid #2 Circuit Fault
652-Modulated Lock-Up Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Fault
624-Electronic Pressure Control Solenoid Circuit Fault
CM
172-HEGO (HO2S) Sensor Fault/Lean
176-HEGO (HO2S) Sensor Fault/Always Lean
211-Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP) Circuit Fault
KOER
636-Transmission Oil Temperature Higher or Lower Than Expected
639-Insufficient Input from Transmission Speed Sensor
136-HEGO (HO2S) Sensor Fault, Always Lean
536-Brake On/Off (BOO) Circuit Not Activated During KOER
521-Power Steering Pressure Switch Circuit Fault

If anyone can shed some light on my situation it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome :) . With so many codes, I wonder if you have a wiring harness issue. I suggest you first clear all the codes. Pull fuses 4 and 11 in the Power Distribution Box (next to the battery) for a minute or two.

Then continue your "normal" routine until the car "acts up" again. Then get the codes read again and post the new codes. We will then go from there.

Welcome to CEG:cool: My guess is the PIP, but starting over with a reset will clear any old codes. Looks like you have access to a good scanner!

I just got done retesting it. I pulled fuses 4 and 11 then tested it with the engine off. I got the same exact KOEO codes and 512 for the CM codes(i'm assuming beacause the fuses had been pulled). Then i ran the car until the CEL came on. I got only a 176 for the CM codes this time. Finally i did the KOER test and got the exact same codes as before.

I Checked the wiring harness and it looks pretty good by the PCM. The wiring laying accross the top of the radiator looks just a little bit beat up, but it doesnt look like anything bad enough to cause a problem.... would a wiring problem cause the car to run poorly only when its warm though?
