Idea for Protecting the Mirko...

My buddy kyle added a thin rubber molding to the front edge of his splitter honesltly its a very clean look and does the job pretty well..He did this after he took a chip outta the splitter so this now covers that up..

Still won't protect the leading edge from chipping. It's take much scraping before you have to reapply. Just need to get a thin sheet of aluminum and use the Mirko as a template. Have it stick out just a few MM from the leading edge. Also doubles as a cat killer.

Ok well heres my buddy kyles mirko with rubber molding protectant, nothing fancy but it does do well weather you know it or not..

damn love bugs here in florida, makes front end look gross... Also, Once I had it on, I got so used to it, that when I took it off to replace it, the mirko looks so naked without it!!

Actually, I wasn't joking. I don't ride aroud with my Mirko all the time anymore cause down here it gets damaged. I take it off and put it on ALOT. SO all that holds it on is the two screws in the side, which I don't mind. But its still a little wobbily across the front. I don't want to use double sided tape to hold it on since I do take it off and put it on ALOT.

So, I am going to use the stabilizers. Easy to put on, take off, and even if every other person in the world thinks they will look rice, I like the way they look.

I like the "Nascar carbonfiber trunk"and would have gotten on if they weren't so damn much money, I like my touring wing, I like my windshield banner, I like all the things about my car that on any given day, someone can think is rice.

People called me rice when I had my AAS kit on my SE V6, someone out there is always going to pull the rice card on something they dont like.

OH WELL!! I think I'll order them today and post pics after I get them installed!!
