Anyone ever tired some of that spray on truck bed liner on the bottom of the mirko? If not would it work being that normally it is applied to metal and not fiberglass? :ponder: I really want to try this, since it would be alot cheaper than putting a huge sheet of metal on the bottom of it, weighing the front bumper down even more than it already is...

Still won't protect the leading edge from chipping. It's take much scraping before you have to reapply. Just need to get a thin sheet of aluminum and use the Mirko as a template. Have it stick out just a few MM from the leading edge. Also doubles as a cat killer.

Well I dont' have a problem with messing up the front edge, just scraping the bottom of it....
Who gets under your car low enough to see the bottom of it? If you can see underneathe it, lower your car!

Keeping the front from getting chipped up is what keeps it from looking bad

something similar to this should be done...

hey thats a great idea m!key! something that projects out just a bit to protect that front edge would be perfect. i even like the little struts and they would look really hot on a contour. great idea!

I thought about getting a thick strip of plexy glass and cutting it out underneath sticking out maybe a hair or so. That way it is clear and cheap to replace. I will make the edge sharp kinda. Not soo flat so it stands out.

I will post pics when i get it done.

well first of all.... those aren't struts. They're adjustable stabilizers threaded at both ends, and the barrel in the middle is turned to adjust the angle of attack on the splitter. They look cool if they're done right. It also helps when it's used on a car that actually needs it.
