.... that took a s*** and led to Swazo being parted out and the bare shell crushed.

Is anyone interested in having me tear it down, take pics of any damage? It's just sitting in my tool shed of all places, and I'm getting close to just 86'ing it. I thought I'd throw an offer to tear it down, if anyone is interested for additional forum info.

It has +1MM than stock, SP pistons with odd ball ring set. I'm betting a ring land..... or 5 broke

Alright, I've just got to get it over to my shop and onto a stand. I might even be able to justify buying a new digi cam for this :ponder:

I'm planning on getting the engine onto a stand and start taking it apart this week.

I'm betting the POS craptastic Sealed Power pistons that I chose, failed. I got the +1mm size, and Buckshot77 had to get custom moly rings made. I'm betting on seeing broken ring lands in one or more cylinders.

I just hope the block and crank are still usable.

Can you just post a couple pics of the car, preferably one of the done engine bay. Your car was seriously amazing. Hand down, nicest car on CEG, nothing will ever touch it

Thanks for the props

I was still sorting out the gremlins at this point, and later had the hose routing and connections MUCH cleaner.

One that I've always liked

I just have to find a worthy CSVT to start with ("cheap-n-complete"), and I will be soon enough :)

I'll be tearing apart the 3L...... maybe today even.

what? you'll do it all over again? if i was to do it all again, i would get an AER motor and put that into somebody's low-mileage shell.
