Ok so its not goodbye for good, but still I had to leave my baby at my uncle's house while I attend college at PSU. Since the family is moving to California, she needed a place to stay while Im gone. I will see her in a month when I am back up there for Warped Tour so i think i will be ok. Im going through some withdrawl i think, and its only been 8 hours. Here is the last pic i took of her right before I had to leave her.

My uncle has an escape with the 3.0 in it and i told him he could go ahead and do the engine swap, but he didnt seem to want too:shrug:

No, just letting you know that your withdrawal is only temp.

Mine is foooooorrrrrrrrreeeeeevvvvvvveeeerrrrrrr.

The buses are the way to go. The bus service at UMass Amherst is freaking amazing. A bus every 15 minutes during class times and every half hour in the evenings. You can get almost anywhere on campus or close to campus via bus.

So, how's everything out in State College Jeff?
I hope the move to Cali went smoothly for your parents.

so far so good up here. first couple of days it was kind of surreal, just like im up here with a bunch of friends for a little while. then classes started so it brought to realize why im here again. and i have stayed out of trouble the first week.

everyone seems to be doing well in cali. the move has gone as smoothly as it can for a cross country trip. my dad and brother who drove out there made it across in 2 and 1/4 days including overnight stops.

Glad to hear that you're doing well! :)

Also glad to hear the the cross country trip went pretty well. That was a quick drive across the country.

Sounds like the time I drove from 32nd St. Naval Station in San Diego, CA to Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL.

2338 miles... in 25.5 hours... straight through, no stops other than gas. I'll let you do the math on the average speed, but I know I'd never do that again...

Glad you're enjoying the new place and classes, and that your family made the move safely..
