How many parts from a mystique will fit a contour?

Long story short I bought a high mile (290,000) mystique for $25 that had a blown head gasket. I tore the motor out of it (it was shot all around) and have no desire to put one back in. So now, I want to part it out. (working on post count now). So I would assume things like the knuckles, axles, hoses, bolts, etc are the same between the two cars, correct? year is 1998. Glass, etc?

I know how people break parts and having access to used parts is good. I am going to sell stuff off of this SUPER cheap. The body is in real good condition.

Anyway... I saw a thread where people complained there isn't much to talk about, so talk about this. :shrug:

Virtually everything is interchangable. Obviously some things, such as headlights, grille, & hood, need to be swapped out together, since those parts are specific to each platform.

That's good to hear. I don't want to sell things to people if they can't use them. Most the moving parts are rusty from so many miles, but a lot of it is actually in pretty good condition. Spoiler, tail lights, glass, bumpers, etc.

I am not trying to sell from this thread... I'm curious for when I CAN part it out in the classifieds. Till I can make the post count, I'll just have to wait. Good to hear though. Car is silver for anyone thinking. Everything but the block is sellable (head is questionable, but I wouldn't charge much for it at all, maybe only shipping).

:troutslap: Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. If someone wants you to PM them about parts, DO IT! Nothing says you can't sell bits privately that way if someone is interested. Just don't post it here publicly in this thread. THAT would get you the smack-down!
