How Do I Scrape parts of the Cluster

Had that thought already when I tried putting a gauge in off a V6 cluster (with the arrow) and it operated backwards. Perhaps it was the wrong year cluster. The easier solution is to hurry up and buy the wife a new car so I can have my Contour back. I don't have an issue with the fuel gauge as it is.

But for those who answered the question.... Thanks!
Since you drive a 98 you need a cluster from a 98 svt that says normal above the temp. I have a 98 and made the same mistake when I put in a cluster out of a 2000. I know this is an old thread but just thought I would put my 2 cents in on it. Just do a WTB and somebody will chime in with a cluster for sale with arrow.
