How do I remove the cruse control cable from the bracket.

How do I remove the cruise control cable from the throttle cable bracket? This is on my SVT. I just don't want to break the clip. The main throttle cable I know how to remove, just pull the clip out.

Edit: This is removal from the throttle cable bracket, not the throttle body. I have pulled and pried it as hard as I am willing to without anymore info. So I will wait.

use a pick or very small flat head screwdriver to carefully pry the tabs that can be seen in the picture (black) away from the end (gray) until you can pull the gray piece out. you will have to work around in a circle making sure you pull on the cable enough to keep the tabs from popping back down. once you have the gray piece pulled out the black lock ring will slide along the cable but will not come off, just squeeze the tabs and push it through the hole.
