How do I get my HIDs to ignite

i meant if the factory wiring on the accord is different from ours then when he plugged them in the polarities were right but on the contour they are reversed.

This is Retarded easy to figure out.

get power and ground directly from the battery (then you dont need to worry about your stupid stock wiring). does the ballast work? if it doesnt turn on with direct power its dead. You'd think this kind of problem solving would be common sense.

Once you've determined the ballasts are good (or not) go get yourself a damn wiring harness so you dont have to worry about frying (again possibly) your ballasts.

Did you even bother with the FAQ? again, all the info you need is in my other post!

How about that was it! The posis and neggies are crossed on this car, that makes absolutly little to no sense to me but that what it was, as soon as I saw the stock wire colors I knew but I thought this stuff was universal, thanks guys

Well I cut out the lil plastic part that makes em 9006 because I couldnt take the prongs out(didnt really know how) and the were on for a second then off I think its the fuses now, but I dont know the numbers, no owners manuel, im searching now

Yeah LOL but I figured it out they were the two 7.5 amps that are ont the harness I put 15 in ems and the work fine, I also put a 20 and a 25 in the low beam fuses is that cool to have two diff fuses? I would have put 2 20s but abviously I dont have 2 right now

what you need to do is take the wires out of the connector that plugs into your original harness and switch them. just take a pin or a jewlers flatblade screwdriver and pry back the little tab inside the plug while pulling on the wire. if you need pics i will go get some for you of mine.

i told you how to pull out the pins from the connector.

DO NOT UPGRADE FUSES! :nonono:

If they blow, it's for a reason. Going with a high amp fuse is asking for trouble. (i.e. melting wires)

So What do I do? get a relay harness? Wher from, I thought the fuses blew because it taks more to fire em up that regular halogens, Im pretty sure I read other ppl upgrading fuses too, so I thought it was safe

They have blown over a long period of time from stress. So a minor upgrade would be ok. Mine have been installed for over a year and haven't blown.

For yours to blow immediately unless you go to a much higher amperage, indicates a problem.
