I'm not going to pick sides here but guys it really has been a long time. If any other CEGer did this they would be banned and the police would have been called by now. I hate it how the mods stick up for him, if they had bought the lights they would be just as pissed as Ryan or anyone else is. Ya he is a nice guy in person, but what he is doing is not right IMO.

Yeah, its really nice how every thread that is brought up on bagged gets locked, way to keep CEG'ers in the dark about what kind of business he is offering.

He is no longer offering business anymore at all, so no one is being kept in the dark. Per forum rules, transactions between a buyer and seller need to be discussed between themselves.

No one is sticking up for bagged. Everyone knows this is all a mess, but in the end, this is why we don't allow classifieds transactions to be discussed publicly.
Hell these are the reasons why Lance refused to even have a classifieds section to the forums for so long.

Rather than whine about not getting your stuff in a thread, you people should be seeking the help of paypal, your banks, the police, etc to get your transactions settled. Sitting around waiting for things to magically happen is gonna get you nowhere. It's not up to the admin staff of CEG to call the police on bagged for you people.

He apparently thought doing it would be the best way to communicate about the issue and I agree. I'm a very understanding person and continue to be understanding. I just want to know if I need to start looking for some new lights because the ones on the car now are starting to annoy me:shrug:

if you were closer, i'd seal them up for you for free. it can be fixed. just need to bake them apart, remove all of the old sealant with a small screwdriver, and reseal with RTV. yes, people say that isnt the best method, but i used Black RTV in my headlights almost two years ago and still have yet to have any moisture in them.

Yeah I might just have to go ahead and do that. I hightowered them myself and didn't use enough RTV on that particular headlight. The passenger side one is still holding well.

Yeah I have, and if you recall, the buyers finally got off their asses and notified police and detectives to get their money back from Frank.
NECO admins didn't notify the police. The people affected did.
Part of the classifieds rules on CEG is buyer beware. That means CEG is not responsible for when sales go wrong.

The difference in the Frank situation is that Trevor provided IP address info for people to find Frank's address and phone number, but that's not necessary in this situation. Bagged isn't a scam artist purposely evading his customers.
It's easy enough for anyone here to post "hey, who has bagged's contact information aside from email?" and someone will step forward and give it.
Asking "who has heard from bagged?" isn't enough of a question to gain his phone number or home address in order to get in touch with him. People aren't mind readers.

What kind of justice do you propose CEG bring in this situation that paypal and the police can't?
CEG can't get any of these people's money back or their parts.

im not saying id want anyone to do this(because scott is a real good guy outside of this ordeal). but i threatened legal action against the owner of Promotion Tuning. he probably crapped his pants when he read all the forums i posted it on. well, we'll just say that i received a full refund before any authorities were involved
