I am going to buy all the components to make my own kit:
2 Flanges, 2-1 Collector, Tubing, etc. etc.
I found a supplier near my house that sells muffler casings with your choice of size as well as the caps with your choice of outlet size and location(center, offset, dual)
BUT they have steel wool and some sort of fabric-ish packing material.
I wanted steel wool because it's cheap, but would steel wool give me high pitch exhaust note when i get on the throttle? That rasp sound I DO NOT want.
It would be a 3.5" round muffler case with a 2.5" perforrated core wrapped with steel wool.
Anyone know if it will be a higher or lower frequency exhaust note?
