Hmm... what could this pile of parts possibly mean?

I wonder what this stuff means...

Go get about six more cans of the B-12 and raid the dollar store for at least three bottle brushes (baby section). :) Better to have more B-12 than not enough.
I wish I could be there, nothing I like more than getting dirty. :D
Have fun!

I think Scott has the brushes... If not i'm sure he'll let me know when he sees this tomorrow. He told me only 2 cans + 1 spray can of the B-12. I do have another 1/2 can. I can get more but i'll wait to see what he says.

Should be fun!

weres the mil eliminators?
you'll need more...to do it right anyways,i.e,removing the lim and cleaning that and cleaning the head ports as well, they'll be the dirtiest of the three you'll want to clean. no point cleaning the others if the heads are still all gunked up.

^ Yep!

No way, you need more B-12. Mine wasn't all that bad and I used something like 6 cans.
I see the LIM gaskets so I'm assuming you are going to remove the LIM? You can't get the LIM all that clean with it attached to the car. Might as well do it up right. ;)

I've cleaned five UIM/LIM's and I've never used three cans of B-12, always more than that. That stuff works great but you want all the crud out of there.

IDK, I'm a clean freak and if I'm going to do an UIM/LIM cleaning, it will be done right and it will be clean. LOL! More B-12.

Do you have the o-rings for the injectors? Where are the gaskets for the headers? Are they in the cardboard in front of the right header? Just checking.

I don't have o-rings... what are they? part number? hopefully I can get them locally at this point.

and yes, the gaskets came with the headers.

get ready for some bloody knuckles

Bloody knuckles build character.

Hmmmm, looks like fun. I've always had enough B-12 with what I told you, but maybe you should grab a bit more, you can always take it back if we don't use it all.

I have the brushes, an assortment, in fact. We will be removing the LIM, I have teh fuel line disconnect tool to make it pretty easy.

Don't know how I forgot about the o-rings that went around the injectors, Ryan. My fault. Any Parts store should have them, they're pretty cheap. Need 6, BTW.

What time can you head out. If you can make it Friday night, we can start and have it ripped apart.....I mean,...Disassembled that night hopefully. THe only downside is that I have to go to Kung Fu on Fri. night, I'll be done by about 7. If you, or anyone else heading out, wants to crash, that'd be cool. If not, we can get you home. (BTW, qualifying for Monza starts at 7:30 am on Speed. Nice motivation, huh?)

Rob, Justin, if you don't remember how to get to my place, gimme a yell. (412) 974-9442.

Tammy's has said she's gonna make some pizza for all of us Saturday, what a swell gal. Now if she'd only start driving a Ford.

I will pick up the o-rings and more cans of B-12 tonight.

So with that said about Kung-Fu, would it be better if I just got there at 7? I get off of work at 4, would have to get home, change, and head out. I don't know what time you leave for kung-fu but it sounds like we wouldn't get much time before that. If thats the case, I could come at 7 and actually may take you up on the crashing there offer. That would save someone 4 trips (out and back at night then again in the AM). Plus if we get an early start Saturday (minus time for Monza qualifying of course), we may not need sunday. I'll give you a call tonight to make sure everything is in line for Friday.

Speaking of F1, I had to miss last weekends and wow it sounds like I missed alot... I may need to download the race and watch it...

Oh yeah, 2 go on each injector. :troutslap: to myself. Yeah, get there about 7, and I don't think we'll need Sunday. Crashing over will be fine, we got plenty of space.

one o-ring for the fuel rail, one for the LIM, per each injector...

yup each injector needs two o-rings ... should be able to get them locally at autozone/napa/advance easily. they are fel-pro ones and come 4 to a package .... so you need three packages ...
