Just curious if anybody is driving a SVT with really high mileage? If so what major components have you had to replace? I realize maintainance plays a big part in longevity. Mine has 146k on it, and is still going strong... just curious as to how much more life I can expect out of it.

Multiple members have 20x, 24x and 26x,000 miles on their SVTs. rigorous maintenance would play a big part in that, as you say.

i'm gonna be hittin 111k pretty soon. I need a new waterpump and I'm gonna need a new suspension by the end of summer. Everything else is runnin' fine and dandy.

98 non-SVT 89k.

has new starter
all new motor mounts
new strutes
both control arms and ball joints replaced.

mods.

k & n intake filter.
tint
new tail lights/reflector both tinted.
17in rims and new tires.

Mine has 160,000 and I bought it with 142,000. PO put in upgraded clutch and diff at 95,000 and other than routine maintenance and upgrades there has never been any major work done. I have all receipts from when car was new and the car has never had engine work. This car has changed my opinion of the longevity of these cars and I would have no issues buying a car with 100K miles. This car was supposed to be a good looking beater used to rack up miles but it's so nice and reliable I made it my DD

Wow almost identical to me. I bought my '99 CSVT with 141k and currently at 158k about 15 months later. Runs like a champ, no issues whatsoever. PO replaced clutch at about 90k and alternator once. Only failure I have had was the blower motor resistor for $15. I have replaced struts, mounts, bushings, LCA, RR, brakes, rotors, etc. Basically all wear out and suspension items to make it ride and handle as tight as day one. Less than $1k in parts costs and all labor myself.

I recently joined the 100,000 mile club, put about 1,200 on it since then. Just replaced sway bar end links 2 days ago. Runs like a champ an uses NO oil,no leaks ether.

175k on mine. Replaced the alternator like 5 times. Finally got a good one in there. Replaced the rack and pinion due to a faulty seal. I'll have to replace some suspension parts soon, but, seeing as it's already a high mileage car, I don't want to spend much $$ fixing it...

Awesome Jim! I have 156k or 158k on mine. Only a Quaife was installed. Original alt. and fuel pump still.
