I’ve taken a chance on a cheap winter ($350 installed & balanced) and could not be happier. Had Blizzaks before, they were good but this quite comparable. Superb handling in the snow and wet. Can't comment on the wear as I just put them on, hope it’s as good as the handling. So if you are looking for winter tire on the budget look into these.

I just got a pair of Blizzaks. I'm gonna try them out and see how good they really are. If you say these X-tremes compare to the Blizzaks, man you got a good deal on the price.
