Help!!!!

sounds like my brothers car and it was the battery , the battery had enough power to just barely start the car so for like 1-2 seconds it would click then just boots up but my dad checked the battery acid and it was good got it tested at crapy tire passed but then my dads friend looked at it and told me the cells in the battery weren't good ,so charged it problem fixed:blackeye:

a bad battery does not make a car pull that amount of codes tho, does it?

rapid cycling of the PCM will cause it to throw codes because it is running, sensors are warmed, our outputting signals, then it dies, and restarts receiving signals it shouldn't right away, etc.

When I had my "power flickering on and off, PATS light flickering" type problem that others have had it was a VREF issue which caused the PCM to die rapidly.. I got codes for Fuel levels, TPS, EGR, O2s, coilpacks, everything.

Well I am going to head out to the junkyard and grap a pcm just in case that is the problem. Of course I am going to test the battery before I install just in case. I will let you all know what happens.

make sure u get one for an SVT. they're not interchangeable. an SE or zetec won't work. get the code off of urs and get one that matches.

Ok, I went to the junkyard and got a pcm out 98 mystique code on it was 97bb-wd and kca3 and mine is a 97bb-we and kca4 and the pats system wont let me start the car do I need the exact numbers? Is there a way to program my two keys to the new one?

Ok I am going to try something else, I talked to a another mechanic friend and he said to check the alternator like mentioned earlier. Beside the battery what could cause it to over charge. Could it be the two wires are crossed or is it bad?
