Help with a 3L Build

Haha, ok. Has anyone ever used the DAMB heads that AREN'T VCT (the first gen Lincoln LS V6 heads) on one of their builds? Cause thats another 20 some HP right there isn't it?

From what I remember the 1st generation Lincoln V6 does have VVT. It was the 1st generation (1st year of production) of the V8 that don't have VVT like the Jag S does.

The SVT cams won't work on anything that has DAMB heads. They are not compatible.

wouldn't raised height bucket actuators work? With replaceable shims it could make for a VERY aggressive cam layout; or should I just keep with the 3.0 taurus heads?

Your ideas are really good and we would all love to see someone go after them. Problem is, noone has done it yet so your support from this forum would be very limited and anything you got would be speculation at best.

If this is your first build and you hope it to go smoothly, stay with the tried-and-true. Hell, there are plenty of issues floating around here all the time with builds that have been done a whole bunch. Can't imagine the can of worms that would arrise with trying to figure out varialbe timing, different head options, ect.
