i got a loud ticking and cant for the life of me figure it out...here is a video, please tell me what you think it might be

that sounds like its about twice the speed of the crank, or bearings...

possibly timing or cam related (on top, not bottom, so it would be a better outcome than a bearing)


of course.. I only have the built in laptop speakers and they are QUIET so....

Sounds cam related to me too. Does it get louder as you rev it?

its hard to say if it gets louder when i rev it was just so loud to begin with...

Confirm by removing the serpentine belt. If the sound is gone, then it is pulley related (or its related components).

ok its internal. so what should I do. get someone to look at it or say it time for a 3L?
