when i switch the switch to high the air stops blowing. doesnt matter what i have it set to (defrost, ac, heat, etc.). the notch before high and the rest work perfect. is this some kinda relay or switch issue?

Your switch is toast. Mine went 3 times between the 2 tours I have. I just went to junkers on the free parts day and loaded up on things that tend to go often on our cars.

Fan speed. It works on low and mid right? When you turn it to high it doesn't, right? I'm not sure about the part number. Ford most likely will try to sell you the entire HVAC control module. Don't know why but dealers in Canada charge an arm and a leg for electrics. Bill Jenkins has those units for $40, here every dealer wanted over $100. You can replace just the switch from a used Junker unit.

yes, that is corect part. the switch I was talking about is the one
in this pic it's on the right.
on the left. if you look at the back there is a screw that holds it.
